Anyone else consistently getting this error when attempting to auto write a work completed invoice?
Its pretty frustrating considering we are on a higher tier.

Yep, that “Smart Assistant is at capacity” message can pop up when the Smart Writing Helper is trying to Auto-Write the Work Completed description and the AI service is temporarily handling unusually high demand (it’s not typically specific to your account or device).
A couple of quick things to try:
- Wait 5–10 minutes and try Auto-Write again.
- Refresh your browser, or log out and back in, then retry.
- If you’re doing this in the Online Dashboard, try the same action in the ServiceM8 iOS app (or vice versa).
If you’re on a higher tier plan, this shouldn’t be caused by hitting an AI use limit, as our paid plans list “Unlimited AI uses per day” (the Free plan shows “10 AI uses per day”).
If it’s persisting longer than ~15 minutes or happening regularly, contact our Support team via Home → Help → Contact Support Team so we can investigate privately (Support is available 24/7 via live chat and email).
