General or specific, we usually recommend posting your inquiry in the ServiceM8 Community discussion area: https://community.servicem8.com/ to post any inquiries there.
Hi Nicholas, sorry for the trouble and the extra step of having to post here. We traced your failed connection attempts to a ServiceM8 issue rendering the authorization page after login. Your account is now running a version containing the fix. Please try connecting the OpenAI plugin again. If it still fails, share the approximate time and timezone of the attempt so we can trace it.
A 500 Internal Server Error at the ServiceM8/ChatGPT connection step is a server-side failure rather than something caused by your browser, device, or network, and we don’t have support-confirmed evidence that this is a wider ChatGPT incident at the moment.
Try resetting the ChatGPT connection and running the documented setup again: disconnect ServiceM8 in ChatGPT Settings > Apps, sign in to ServiceM8 in the Online Dashboard in another browser tab, then install the public ServiceM8 plugin in ChatGPT and authorize access.
If it still returns 500, email support@servicem8.com with the exact time and timezone of a fresh attempt, plus screenshots of the step before the error and the error page, so we can trace it without posting connection details publicly.
