We are developing ID Connect by Veltrovi, a private Draft add-on registered under our developer account.
We have encountered an issue where ServiceM8 does not appear to dispatch the hosted callback when the add-on is launched from the Web Add-ons menu.
Application details
App ID: 690977
Application type: Self-Hosted Web Service Function
Draft status: Ready
Add-on status: ON
Manifest version: 0.3.0
Registered event: credential_home
OAuth scopes: vendor read_staff
Hosted callback URL:
https://digital-id-staging.veltrovi.co.uk/integrations/servicem8/callback
Issue observed
On 14 October 2026 at approximately 13:38:40 UTC, we launched ID Connect from the ServiceM8 Web Add-ons menu.
ServiceM8 displayed an invalid-response/configuration error.
However, no corresponding HTTPS POST reached our Cloudflare Worker, and our callback-receipt records remained at zero.
We have independently verified that:
The callback endpoint is publicly reachable over HTTPS.
Cloudflare Access does not restrict the callback route.
Controlled unsigned POST requests reach the endpoint and correctly return HTTP 401.
The manifest validates and the add-on is enabled.
OAuth authorisation and Staff synchronisation work successfully.
The issue therefore appears to occur before our callback handler receives a request.
Could your developer team please investigate the hosted callback dispatch configuration for App ID 690977 and advise why ServiceM8 is not issuing the expected HTTPS POST?
We would also appreciate confirmation that the callback URL and manifest event configuration are correct for a Self-Hosted Web Service Function.
