Error 500 means that there is an internal server error.
Are you sending any parameters when you are contacting the API?
Are you able to confirm the customer has setup custom fields? The most likely scenario is that the customer isn’t using them.

We’ve not had to set up custom fields before when testing and developing our integration and it seems to work for other contractors. How and where can we check that they have setup custom fields?
