I’m assessing a private integration that automatically fills an existing form’s contact-time question from the job’s original creation time, formatted in Australia/Adelaide. Staff must then complete and sign the same form normally. No extra custom field or manual copying is intended.
Could you confirm these API capabilities with a minimal request/payload example?
- Creation time: Which supported field or event provides the immutable original job creation instant? The Job schema has
datebut no creation timestamp. Forjob.created, what is the exact payload timestamp field and timezone? Does it represent device creation or server sync for offline jobs, and is there a historical-job lookup? - Delivery: The manifest discussion says business events use an API subscription and callback URL. Is there a supported callback route into a ServiceM8-hosted Addon Kit function, or is separately hosted callback infrastructure required? How is delivery authenticated?
- Incomplete forms: The deep-link guide says incomplete responses open for editing. Can REST create such a response with only one answer and no submission/signature/final document? Which request fields set and expose that state?
- Answers: What exact
field_dataentry structure and identifier should be used for an existing Text question? How do we reliably match it to the question’s Word Template Field Code?
If REST draft creation is unsupported, is there another supported form-prefill extension point? We will validate any suggested route only in a separate test account with invented data.
