Hi there, Very dissapointed that the ‘Calender’ view has been removed. The new views, no matter how we configure them is just way too cluttered.
My Admin is trying really hard to try and make it work, but there seems to be no configuration that is as clean as the 2 Week Calendar view we had. Is there any chance of adding that back, or possibly adding a 2 week option that is laid out like the ‘month’ view?
@darren while I personally have always hated calendar view, don’t have any issues with the calendar view gone and think its great amazing that schedule don’t sit on top of others anymore , I have already had the phone calls asking to rollback because they lost calendar view. Specifically the colour coding of staff and the ability to filter staff. One particular use case is a pest control company with thousands of recurring jobs, they have the recurring job set to “unassigned” staff member. And the owner uses the calendar filter down to show the unassigned staff and then he goes through the list on unassigned and then opens up each job card to assign, after deactivating the launch they are complaining the job card schedule is inactive, their solution would be solved and @kingsley_holdaway would probably solved as well if calendar view was made available as an add on or config setting.
Thanks Michael, Yes, I think the main part of the view is available in the ‘month’ view, but we should be able to see it in 2 weeks, and allow to see the whole day, not just 2 jobs then a +7 or whatever that we have to click on.
I kinda understand it, but it’s not easy to see at a glance what’s on for the week. The colour coding as well. I see there is colours per job type, but not for staffing. We used to just look for Yellow - that’s me, Green - that’s Joel, Blue, Orange etc etc. It was quick and simple.
And lastly, the ability to just click on a job and select new days/times for it rather then having to go through the new schedule thing. Sometimes we just know when it needs to be and clicking to scroll through days to get to the right one is just more steps in what was a reasonably simple process.
